Kreig...On Sat. after you guys left, Marcelyn's brother (24 yrs. old) died after a short illness so Marcelyn is in the province, coming back this week. They're a great group of kids and it only takes a soccer ball to encourage them. You should have seen them dividing up the clothes you guys left. It was fun.

This was our first trial run with the tires. We planted onions, peppers and chard. The onions did the best and were used in lunch preparation for the students. I don't believe the students have carried on with this project, especially now that schools have been closed for a while. Old tires are so readily available here and make great planters. I'm not knowledgeable enough in the various plants grown here to provide reasonable info. Our most successful sustainable project thus far has been our pig and goat project that is functioning in the province.

I was thrilled to find this blog! I have been thinking about you guys, and wondering what all was happening in your ministry throughout the time of those four storms. I will make sure to look back on this site to see how God is using you. I hope to someday meet you guys in Haiti. Just seeing all the pictures you posted rekindles a desire to continue to pray for you and the country of Haiti!

Blessings,
Darrek Arneson

I hope this gets to the missionaries in Haiti. I am a minister of the gospel in the states and I know some of the hard situation in Haiti as far as food is concerned. I just want to ask if you would keep me updated on the situation there?

What a very nice Web Site you have created, chock full of interesting information..of what is happening in your area.

Seems like your plans for completing the Task God has set before, is coming along very nicely..Well done, Thy good and faithful servants...I can hear God saying to you.
Love you both,
Irene.

Thank you for the tip Bill and Dorothy! I never know what's going on in the realm of television programming, so it's great to hear about these things so I can tune in.
