The Convoy of Hope interns help separate hundreds of pairs of shoes by size. In this way, the smaller sizes are reserved for school children. The LACC schools have been served well with tennis shoes. Now we expand the distributions to other schools.

After their children got new shoes, these parents enjoyed trying on new tennis shoes. It was an exciting day in a Delmas neighborhood.
I couldn’t pass up these beautiful smiles. Haitian children have the most beautiful smiles and they will steal your heart in just a matter of seconds. Beware!
New Shoes

Here is one example of a new pair of Nike tennis shoes replacing old, tattered, worn out shoes. The joy of being able to help people in their need is truly rewarding. It rather reminds me of turning our sin-filled life over to Christ and allowing Him to replace our shattered life with a new life in Him through the forgiveness of our sins. What joy that must bring to Him also.

We have been doing distributions in our LACC schools…school supplies and brand new Nike tennis shoes. Talk about a thrill! It is so fun watching the kids’ eyes get huge when they see they are getting new shoes. Parents are also receiving shoes. Photos will be coming.
