3tet-cole…just going through some photos and really liked this one.  I call it ‘Tet Kole’ (glued heads).  Perhaps their expressions reveal three personalities among them.

tf-girl2This little girl was too cute to pass up a shot.  Looking beyond her in the distance is the Dominican Republic.  This is one of my favorite areas to visit in Haiti…just below the Pine Forest.

Along with the academics at our schools comes a delicious daily meal.  I was given a taste recently (actually more than a taste) and it was quite good.  Today we helped serve and just enjoy the kids.  They are sooooo cute!

School collapse

Posted in Uncategorized on November 8, 2008 by Bill & Dorothy

It has been a while since we last posted.  I wanted to get this on due to emails and questions regarding the school that collapsed yesterday morning in Petionville.  It is not an LACC school and not affiliated with the AG in Haiti.  That doesn’t lessen the loss and suffering.  It is inconceivable what the families must be going through right now.  One lady who is a friend of a friend has three children who attend that school.  She has only found her youngest…two remaining unaccounted for.  For a fairly good video news clip on the disaster, click here.  It is a Fox News video.
